Because of the recent restoration of the lantern room at the Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse we thought it was important to share with our readers some historic images of the lighthouse without its lantern room that had been removed in the 1880s and then when a lantern room was installed in 1984 through the efforts of the students and teachers of the Edison Technical High School.
