St. Joseph Point Lighthouse on Beacon Hill near Port St. Joe Florida is shown here from a family photograph in the collection of Charles Lupton who was the lighthouse keeper here from 1902 to 1928. When the lighthouse was discontinued, its lantern room was removed and the structure was eventually sold. Not only has it changed ownership over the years, it has been moved several times. The current owner built a replica of the lantern room to bring the lighthouse back to its original glory.
