Old Presque Isle Turns 175

Although Michigan’s Old Presque Isle Lighthouse doesn’t officially turn 175 years old until November, a gigantic celebration is being planned for Saturday, July 11 and finish up on Saturday, July 19. The summer month of July was chosen for the big party because more people will be around to join in the event, which is being planned by the Presque Isle Township Museum Society.
