Robbins Reef Lighthouse in New York Harbor.

Most recently they had a new 160-pound stainless steel cellar door made at a local shipyard, which they transported to the lighthouse and installed. It is hoped that the new cellar door will prevent leakage that had been seeping into the cellar for years. When they first entered the cellar, they thought it was a dirt floor, but they soon discovered that it was a cement floor covered with years of debris that looked like muck or mud. It was the first time in 50 years that the cellar had seen light and fresh air.
