The volunteers at Michigan’s 1904 Crisp Point Lighthouse, located in the Upper Peninsula near the community of Paradise, have been fighting erosion problems for years but the biggest threat now is to the crumbling bricks of the 58-foot tall tower and deterioration seems to be happening at an alarming rate.

Although the group has received a grant toward the restoration of the tower, as with most grant programs, additional money is required to be raised by the group. Many people have helped save this lighthouse from being swallowed up by Lake Superior, but your help is now needed to help restore and save the tower.
