Sprucing Up North Head Lighthouse

This past winter, exterior renovations continued at North Head Lighthouse at Cape Disappointment State Park in Ilwaco, Washington. The work was part of ongoing restoration work that has been taking place at the lighthouse since 2015.

The State of Washington, which has been paying for the restoration work, includes stone masonry repair, stucco repair and associated brick masonry repair, the reintroduction of wood windows at the lighthouse, a revised electrical system, and a replication of the fence that used to surround the lighthouse.
