This past July 25th, volunteers from the Delaware River & Bay Lighthouse Foundation battled heat and humidity in their efforts to keep up with the ongoing maintenance needed to care for the historic 1926 Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse in Lewes, Delaware.
On this trip, the dedicated team of seasoned volunteers and some new ones from the next generation painted the third level, scraped and started the painting of the stairwell, painted the inside of the lantern, and touched up the dock deck. (Work photos by Red Moulinier)
