Surrounded by the coast of Maine’s majestic beauty, Carol Sebold has spent the last 25 years painting the wonders around her. Inspired by the rocky coasts, majestic landscapes and unique lighthouses of Maine, Carol has captured the mystique of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse in a watercolor painting simply titled “Rockland Breakwater.” She has now pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of the print to the Friends of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse to assist in the renovation of the light. “This is my way of giving back to the community which has given me so much encouragement and inspiration in my work.” stated Carol.

The Limited Edition, numbered and signed prints will be sold on the website of the Friends of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse and during summer fund-raisers such as the Lobster Festival. “Carol’s generosity in assisting the restoration project is deeply appreciated” was the reaction from Dot Black the Co-Chair of the Friends. Carol has also agreed to participate as a judge in the up-coming photo contest for the 2001 Nautical calendar being produced by the Friends.

The image size of the print is approximately 18” x 10” and unframed prints will sell for $50.00 plus $4.95 S&H. Information on the sale of the Carol Sebold print can be found on the Store page of the website at: http://www.midcoast.com/~brkwater or by writing to:
