Harbour Lights Announces 2000-01 Member Pieces

Comments?

Harbour Lights, the premier maker of lighthouse replicas has announced that a replica of Florida’s Boca Grande Lighthouse as its 2000-01 member exclusive replica. They have also announced that a replica of Southwest Reef Lighthouse, Louisiana will be given free to every new and renewing member of its Collectors Society.

Legend has it that Gasparilla Island, home of the Boca Grande Lighthouse was named after pirate Jose Gasper. Southwest Reef Light was an unwelcome station for lighthouse keepers in the summer months. Painted with black coal tar, the lighthouse turned into a furnace in the summer months, making life at the light intolerable.

Harbour Lights was founded in 1991 by Bill Younger and each authentic, limited edition replica is individually hand painted, hand numbered and handsomely gift boxed and comes with a brief history of the lighthouse. Some Harbour Lights replicas have seen a dramatic increase in value.

Membership in the Harbour Lights Collectors Society is available as item #42911 for $30.00 through Lighthouse Depot by calling 1-800-758-1444 or through this web site.
