On April 29th the Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands held a Cape Cod Lighthouse Cruise, passing more than 10 historic lighthouses from Boston to Provincetown. The Boston Harbor Cruise’s high speed Catamaran even slowed down on the return trip so passengers could observe some humpback whales. The Friends hold lighthouse cruises and other events during the spring, summer and fall. Log on to - www.fbhi.org for the latest schedule. The “Old Salts” shown here from left to right are - John Forbes, cruise organizer for the Friends of Boston Harbor Islands; Ray “Skip” Empey, Lighthouse cruise narrator and Jeremy D’Entremont, Lighthouse cruise narrator.
