North Carolina Gets a Second Lighthouse License Plate

North Carolina’s Cape Lookout Lighthouse with its distinctive diamond pattern will now join Cape Hatteras lighthouse as the states 2nd automobile lighthouse license plate.

The license plates cost $30.00 apiece with $20.00 of each plate going to the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum. With an initial required 300 plates that’s $6,000 for the museum and $200 of every plate sold thereafter. For additional information you can contact Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, 1205 Island Rd, P.O.
