Lighthouse Explorer Photo
Seen at the entrance to the harbor at Rhodes Town, near the fort and lighthouse, are these symbols of Rhodes on pillars. They are said to indicate where the feet of the Colossus of Rhodes once stood. Some people believe that the Colossus stood on a nearby hill.
