Notes: There has been a navigational light in this vicinity since 1499, and this was the last Trinity House lighthouse to be automated. The tower was raised by two stories in 1793. A new lantern room was added in 1890. Tower Height: 85 Height of Focal Plane: 188 Characteristic and Range: 6 red and white flashes every 20 Seconds; visibility: White - 19 nautical miles, Red - 16 nautical miles. Description of Tower: White, octagonal brick tower.
