Notes:
The Sheringham Point Lighthouse Preservation Society is working to have the lighthouse and ten surrounding acres transferred to the to the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area Parks Commission for a lighthouse park.

Tower Height: 64

Height of Focal Plane: 72

Characteristic and Range: Flashing green every 15 seconds.

Description of Tower: White, hexagonal concrete tower with red lantern.

This light is operational

Date Established: 1912

Date Present Tower Built: 1912

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Open To Public? No.

Directions:
The lighthouse is near French Beach Park in Shirley. Turn off Highway 14 (West Coast Road) at Sheringham Point Road. The lighthouse was automated a few years ago and entry to the property is not permitted, but you can get a good view of the tower.
