Directions:
From I-81, exit 41, St. Rt. 178 west, turns into Co. Rt. 178 west as it crosses St. Rt. 3. As you continue to head west on Rt. 178 (Military Rd.) you will come to two (2) forks in the road. The road signs do NOT look professionally made so you really have to be on the lookout for them. At the first fork, veer left as the sign says "Rays Bay/ Lighthouse" (it does not say Rd., St., etc.) (veer right says "Snow Shoe"). At the second fork, veer right as the sign says "Lighthouse" (veer left says "Rays Bay"). Take it to the very end of "Lighthouse Rd." Keep in mind that it is private property. (Thanks to Bill Edwards.)

Keepers: Wiley Gilbert Nickles (1830-1860), Miles E. Eggerston (?- was keeper for 37 years and was there in 1902.)
