Notes:
A port controller’s office surrounds the base of the lighthouse. Ships entering or leaving Port Phillip Bay must be cleared to enter the channel by the controller, in the same way aircraft are cleared for take off and landing at an airport. Tower Height: 70 Height of Focal Plane: 120 Characteristic and Range: Two flashes every 15 seconds (directional light with white and red sectors). Description of Tower: White conical tower, black lantern.
