When the lighthouse was discontinued, it was moved from its original home in Digby, NS, to Market Square in Saint John, NB. In 2012 it was moved from St John back to Digby, Nova Scotia.

Tower Height: 26

Height of Focal Plane: 30

Characteristic and Range: White occulting 15 seconds (visible 11s, eclipse 4s), range 7 miles; changed to fixed red in 1926.

Description of Tower: White square pyramidal wooden tower with red trim.

This light is not operational

Date Established: 1887

Date Present Tower Built: 1903

Optics: Originally fifth order lens.

Current Use: Attraction on city waterfront.
