The original lighthouse here was reportedly destroyed by a storm in the 1930s. There is presently an active light on a skeleton tower, and there has been discussion about building a replica lighthouse. We'd like to get more information on the history of this station. Tower Height: 25 Height of Focal Plane: 30 Characteristic and Range: Two white flashes every 15 seconds. Description of Tower: Skeleton tower.
