 Date Established: 1885  Date Present Tower Built: 1885  Optics: 1885: Sixth order Fresnel lens.  Current Use: Active aid to navigation.  Open To Public? Grounds only.  Directions:The lighthouse is accessible on foot but  there is no marked trail. It is about 6 km of strenvous hiking. The community is in the process of constructing a trail to the lighthouse.
