Notes: In 1998 the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce started a campaign to restore and relight Great Captain Island Light. The fundraising effort has raised $250,000 for restoration, and the Town of Greenwich will pay the rest of the cost. In 2012 the tower was relighted. There is a resident caretaker.
