Notes: This lighthouse was erected to help mariners through St. George's Channel and the Irish Sea. It was designed by Daniel Alexander and Joseph Nelson.  Height of Focal Plane: 98  Characteristic and Range: Five white flashes every 15 seconds.  Description of Tower: Square pyramidal tower with red and white horizontal stripes.
