The first tower of California Point Montara Lighthouse where Herbert Luff was stationed from 1892 to 1901. He was also stationed there again from 1928 to 1933 during the time when the tower from Mayo Beach Lighthouse was moved from Massachusetts to California to replace the first Point Montara tower that was demolished.
