Canada’s West Point Lighthouse on Prince Edward Island recently got a fresh coat of paint thanks to Wade Clements and his crew from Mallard Painting.
As part of the painting job, the lantern also got a new coat of a brighter color of red paint that brought the shade of red back to the original Canadian Coast Guard color. Bernard Campbell, one of the painters, spent the better part of the day applying the red paint to the top of the lantern, making him the pivotal point for the camera-snapping tourists.
