Since most people only see Maine's Egg Rock Lighthouse from a distance, they are probably unaware of the size of the tower. This close up image showing work crews replacing missing shingles at the lighthouse is a testament to those who built the lighthouse many years ago and to those who stepped forward now to help save the historic lighthouse.
