Vattarnes Lighthouse This structure is at the south side of the entrance to Reyðarfjörður and the lovely little fishing village by the same name. It is a 39 foot round yellow-orange tower with a red gallery that displays two WRG flashes every 15 seconds. It was built in1957 to replace an earlier tower. Back to the edition of: Mar/Apr 2017
