Vintage image of the Point Robinson Lighthouse, Vashon Island, Washington. Point Robinson was originally established as a fog signal station. A light on a post was added in 1887 which was replaced by the wooden tower in 1894. This image shows the protruding foghorns as well as the old wooden 1894 lighthouse tower that was then replaced by the 1915 tower, shown here, attached to the fog signal building.
