The Chrysler Museum of Art’s original Sunset, New York Bay by Edward Moran (1829-1901) is one of the original works of art on display at the Nobel Maritime Collection. It shows the original Robbins Reef Lighthouse that stood from 1839 to 1883 before it was replaced by the cast iron tower that stands there today. Back to the edition of: Mar/Apr 2016
