Using original furniture and artifacts from the collection of the Walker family, specifically Kate’s great-great granddaughter Barbara Pezzengrilli, the museum staff has created a facsimile of the warm home that Kate managed inside the cast-iron spark-plug style lighthouse where she lived for an amazing 36 years. Also, as well as works of art that depict the lighthouse, there are photographs, a multi-media presentation, and an etching created by Stephen Szoke, who is a great-great grandson of Kate Walker.
