Tim Harrison (r) being interviewed at the base of the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse by a reporter from New Hampshire PBS-TV. The lighthouse has several other nicknames such as Fort Constitution Light and New Castle Light. Harrison said when Connie and Elson Small left the lighthouse in 1948, it signaled the end of family lighthouse keeping, never to be repeated again in the history of our nation.
